What to Consider When Buying a Pink Pickleball Paddle

Of course, the paddle needs to be Pink. It needs to POP and look amazing with a fresh design on the court. So when considering a pink paddle, the paddle color and design are at the top of the list. There are three things to consider when buying your new pink pickleball paddle. Let’s take a look.

1. Paddle Price

Pickleball paddles can be expensive. And it’s not unusual to get a shock when you look at the price. Especially considering that the paddle is slightly larger than a table tennis paddle. There are various factors that go into deciding the price of your paddle. The three key factors are:

Paddle Material

The paddle material is the biggest factor in the cost of a pickleball paddle. High quality paddles use premium materials that have performance-enhancing features. The material ranges from wooden paddles (cheapest) to Carbon Fiber paddles (expensive)

Paddle Design

Pickleball companies invest millions of dollars into research and design. This provides innovative paddles with new materials and features. Such as enhanced sweet spots to improve the consistency of your shot. Or vibration-dampening surfaces, to reduce the noise while playing. Although these features are not essential to play, they are nice to have and add to the price of the paddle.

Paddle Brand

Pickleball brand recognition can impact the paddle price. Well-known brands have high-profile players and demand top dollar for their paddles. While smaller, more boutique paddles don’t have that brand recognition. And the paddles can be less expensive in the process.

Paddles can be expensive for a variety of reasons. That is why beginners and budget-conscious players find the best paddle within their budget. The most expensive paddle is not always the best. Especially for a beginner who just wants a cool, pink paddle to play with.

2. Paddle Weight

After you select the greatest pink pickleball paddle, it’s important to make sure the paddle weight isn’t too heavy. A lighter paddle is easier to play and maneuver with, and less likely to produce wear and tear on your joints. While a heavy paddle is more suited to bigger, power-hitting players.

There is a trade-off when selecting a new paddle. A lighter paddle gives you more control. A heavier paddle gives you more power.

It is recommended that a beginner select a medium-weight paddle, between 7.3 to 8.4 ounces (207 to 238 grams).

In this selection of Pink Paddles, we have not included any heavy paddles. We have focused on the light to medium paddles that are easy to use. And this will maximize our pickleball fun.

3. Paddle Grip

A pickleball paddle should fit snugly in your hand, and most do. The only real consideration with paddle grips is the size. A smaller grip will give you more flexibility and control. And they feel more natural when taking those big shots.

The average grip size of 4 ¼ grip, we have looked for paddles around this length. And we included some paddles with a longer paddle grip for two-handed play. The average length grip should suit most players and feel amazing while playing.
