Amazing new ship with some minor issues

"

We couldn’t really stay interested in the show, and I feel bad for the ice skaters that their talent couldn’t be showcased in a better manner. Our main complaint about the room is that our balcony door frame had a large creaking sound everytime the ship was rocking from sailing in some rougher seas.

We had junior suite. Much much smaller than junior suites on other RCCL ships. Not even allowed in suite lounge. Was told this ship only did not honor junior suites. Water park was good but 45 minute waits. We had specialty dining at IZUMI. Booked 4 months prior to cruise. Was told day of reservation they accidentally gave our reservation away and had hard time getting money back. Food was

Coming from someone who’s been on many RC please don’t go on Icon!!! Find a smaller nicer ship for less please hear me out.——-The Icon is way too big- grabbing a towel for ex is a 200 yard hike, elevator to room is same or more Way too crowded anywhere you go Is like a nightclub disgusting and Covid and such must be spreading like crazy/ I got it from icon/ Staff is very rude and

We are seventy and this is our first cruise on Royal Caribbean even though we have been cruising for 15 years once or twice each year. We normally cruise on carnival and though we would try something different so we booked icon of the seas. We are in our seventies and booked a balcony room not knowing there was inside balconies as we normally have a ocean side balcony so we can sit outside relax

The stateroom I was in a back balcony cabin vibrated while under sail. Basically every night while trying to sleep the whole room vibrated not due to rough seas others experienced the same issue. The rest of the ship was nice the staff was outstanding water park is time consuming long lines, the hideaway was great to escape from kids in every hot tub and pool. 1 pool closed for cleaning one

Great cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Icon of the Seas

This was probably the best cruise experience we have ever had. We ate in windjammer every night except one and we did Izumi that night. The food was just amazing this time. Better than any of their other ships. Our room staff was one of the best too. Just the only problem is being diamond we couldn’t sign up for many shows because we couldn’t get in to try and reserve spots until a couple of

We love how convenient the in and out was. The shows are amazing, especially the aqua action and the singing shows. Food and service are great. We enjoyed it. The only downside is the room for two children are sleeping on the same sofa bed.Excursions were not bad, the Roatán all in one trip was not recommended as the trip was boring and shopping infused. There was almost nothing to

If sailing with kids- what they don’t tell you is the 6mo-3 yo room size is only EIGHT KIDS! If you plan to get some adult time and take your little one, good luck because it’s pretty much impossible. I sailed with me potty trained 2.5 yo and almost 5 yo and I even asked if my littlest could go to the 3-5 side with brother and they denied that. Even the 3-5 side which holds I believe 40 at a time

Food in windjammer was very good and the photo below is the hardest working guy on ship!! St. Martin and St. Thomas were not much. Coco Cay was very nice with good burgers and drink package applied on island. Wizard of Oz show was good! Lots of kids everywhere on boat which was not idea for us. Lots of bar with very good drinks. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Do not stay on floor 4 since

Food was average, nothing special but wait staff was fabulous. Swim up bar would’ve been very nice, had they kept the children out of it. Toddlers to pre teens. Even sitting on the stool at the bar. We had to keep asking the lifeguards to stop the kids from splashing. The splashing of the pool water could’ve actually gotten into our drinks because the table is not that much higher than the actual

Biggest ship, biggest illusion. 150 babies on board. No wipes. No store to buy wipes, baby kids room will give attitude. Luggages arrived to wrong room. Suites are like a small hotel room. Cruise personnel are not nice. Baby play room is so small. No kids free play area that nanny go with the baby. Elevators have technical problems showing wrong floor. The Aqua show stopped after 10 minutes for
