How do I check out at Marriott? ›

To check out using your phone, first open your reservation. The option to use Mobile Check-Out will appear as early as 8 a.m. on the last day of your stay, along with an option to have a receipt sent to you. Once you complete the check-out process on your device, the hotel will be notified that you have left your room.

Standard checkout time is 11:00AM. Late checkouts are provided based on availability at the following rates: 12PM - 3PM: $50.00 + Tax. 3PM-5PM: $100.00 + Tax.

No, a Free Night Anniversary Award issued by Marriott Bonvoy® Partner Credit Cards cannot be transferred or gifted to another Guest; they can only be used by the Member. A Free Night Award is for the Account Holder's primary use. A Free Night Award cannot be transferred from one Member to another.

Hotels will do everything they can to make sure rooms are ready on-time. In the event your room isn't ready, it's not unreasonable to expect that the hotel will do something to make up for it (assuming we're not talking about a 10-minute delay).

The early check-in from 6 am – 11 pm is charged 50% and before 6 am is 100% the room price of that day. Aside from that, because late checking out could affect negatively the hotels' system and next check-in, the guest is recommended to check out before 12 pm as regulations.

Most times you can just stop by the front desk to let the receptionist know you're leaving. They'll review your charges and ask if you'd like a receipt of the final bill. If you don't have time for an in-person checkout, some hotels have a mobile app that notifies the hotel with a single tap.

If a Guest checks-out of their Room earlier than the originally scheduled departure date and is charged a fee, it is typically called an 'Early Departure Fee'. Please speak with the Front Desk directly, if you unexpectedly need to shorten a planned length of stay.

It depends on the hotel. Some establishments provide guaranteed late checkout for a fee. This could be an amount charged per hour for staying past the regular checkout time or a fixed rate. Confirm the hotel's policy before you get ready to check out.

The hotel must give you the room you paid for, even if you arrive late. If the hotel does not have a room for you, it has breached your contract and must provide you with a reasonable substitute. This means they may have to send you to another hotel, even if it is more expensive.

After leaving your room, head to the front desk and inform them that you're checking out. They'll likely request your room key, confirm the card on file is correct, confirm your loyalty number, and provide you with an itemized bill that you can settle in person.

In most cases, you can just leave your room. The hotel will then check you out and send you the bill. You'll want to make sure that they have your correct email address. The charges should also be available on the hotel's website or app.

It's worth noting that while 11 AM is the conventional checkout time, some hotels may offer later checkout options upon request or as part of loyalty programs. However, such extensions are often subject to availability and may come with additional fees.
