As he soars to his penthouse, Hawks sighs. "At long last, a day clear of work stress." Y/N are also off today! I'm looking forward to seeing my gorgeous precious Sunbird." He made a mental note. Y/N proceeded to the kitchen and took two cups of water with her. They returned and placed one on the table while drinking the other. "But when I said yes and married you, I understood what I was getting myself into," Y/N stated as they sat down again.
Hawks sighed and grabbed the cup of water and took a sip “Look I’m sorry I forgot and-” Hawks started to talk but was cut off by Y/N “No-No. It’s fine. I already vented my feelings. You don’t need to be sorry for your fans taking up your life or anything.” Y/N stated. Y/N leaned back on the couch as they finished their cup of water. At these, they were willing to listen. Guess that shower was good then. “Look, I’m sorry. I really should have told them I was busy. "Well, you woke me up, so get to work," Y/N yawned and got up. Y/N teased as they walked to the dresser to grab clothes. "Can I at least change before?" Hawks grumbled and sat up. "Go ahead, but time is ticking," Y/N said as he turned around. "If you don't get the dishes and laundry done by the time you have to go on that mission, I'll give you a treat." Hawks looked down at them and kissed their head softly “Should probably sleep now though. Also, don’t worry I didn’t forget the fried chicken.” Hawks said and closed his eyes. “Now good night.” Hawks said sassily. Y/N giggles and closes their eyes as well. “Night pretty bird.” Y/N teased. Hawks sleeps peacefully in Y/N’s arms and Y/N falls back asleep in Hawks’ arms.
